Highly detailed centerline data aids the county auditors and assessors in the cleaning and updating of the county’s Computer Aided Mass Appraisal (CAMA) database. Recent analyses of DDTI client CAMA databases revealed average error rate of 30%.
Linking their CAMA database to this newly refined data introduces property search functionality using a host of new criteria (owner, address, parcel number, intersection, etc.)
With the geographical location of every address linked to the CAMA database, assessors can execute property value spatial modeling to visually assess trends and patterns in the property values throughout the county. The data also provides the road and address mapping for on-site assessment visits and can facilitate GPS integration for Automated Vehicle Routing with assessment fieldwork.
Since the basemap acts as the foundation upon which all other digital mapping is based, assessors can use this to build all GIS Tax and Parcel Mapping.
