AccuGlobe® Public Safety Developer’s Toolkit System Requirements and Developer’s Network

Development Environment and System Requirements

The AccuGlobe Public Safety Developer's Toolkit API is available in two forms — the first form is the traditional server-based AccuGlobe Public Safety API, using IP-based communication. The second form is an embeddable .NET control. The control can be embedded in any .NET WinForms application and provides a whole host of Public Safety related functionality with just a few lines of code.

The AccuGlobe Public Safety Developer's Toolkit requires the .NET Framework 2.0 on target systems. Core components are tested on Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Server 2008, Vista and Windows 7. All assemblies are 32-bit (not possible to compile a 64-bit version at this time due to ECW library). From a development perspective, most applications are built on top of the AccuGlobe Public Safety API, with a series of C# .NET assemblies providing the bulk of the functionality.

The Developer's Network

The AccuGlobe Public Safety Developer's Toolkit is available with access to a website specifically for programmers that offers downloads of release builds, nightly builds, help files, SDK sample code and a host of other helpful information.
